Hear ye, hear ye Citizens of the Palace. A news update is brought forth from the darkest corners of the world to your front door. As always, we encourage our readers to steer clear of high-conflict zones. Our spies risk their lives so you don’t have to, and this is their report:

Auryx'nam

The news from the developing continent is scarce. A magic shop in the town of Edgewater was plagued by confrontation between gamblers, the undead, and a rogue adventurer. the proprietor involved herself in the conflict, nearly killing the adventurer in the process. As a result, the foremost magic expert in the land has acquired new means of recovering lost magical artifacts by enforcing her will on those rogue adventurers.

Mesdev

Our spies report that the union of the death elf and the traitorous vampire lord is at an early end. Where once we worried about the possible raising of an undead demiplane hellbent on resistance we now see our mages returned to their purpose to save the empire from the clutches of the prophesied destruction foreseen before them. Our Lord of Vengeance is pleased with these developments.

Losamyn

Whispers of change usher forth from the planar city of Reva-Tiran. In the darkness the voices speak of daemons from the void infiltrating the underworld of the city. They warn of the prison chains being broken on the Void's Bulwark, a place built to keep the darkness from seeping out to corrupt the light. As the darkness spreads, so too does the song filtering from everywhere and nowhere all at once. All too many eyes miss the subtle changes on the streets, distracted by the fanfair of devil and mech invasions, to stop the changes coming....

Oetien

Though the seas slumber in times of rest, they do so in the embrace of the black storm that has swallowed this part of the world.....

Umbrage Isles

The lone surviving Watcher of the Realm in Nortemar has made uneasy peace with the frost giants inhabiting their home following the loss of the Watcher's Flame. Reports tell of the two factions united in their mutual disdain for the Lord of Flame at the heart of their problems. In searching for a better way forward, they have managed to rekindle the soul of Svenk Kraytson, spirit of yuletide giving. May his merry gifts bring us all holiday cheer each and every year!

While the soul of Svenk has been saved, so many more are lost to the eternal war of survival against Vaald's forces. More and more of the soldiers retreating from Mount Vaaldera following the loss of the Old Gods are becoming the lost, themselves. While the army retreated from Vaald's roaring flames a group of survivors managed to rescue important documents, histories, and arcane knowledge from the all-consuming flames. Rescuing these tomes came at great cost, however, as the soldier's leader and weapons were sacrificed to the lava that followed.
