Hear ye, hear ye Citizens of the Palace. A news update is brought forth from the darkest corners of the world to your front door. As always, we encourage our readers to steer clear of high-conflict zones. Our spies risk their lives so you don’t have to, and this is their report:
Auryx'nam
Our spies report of a massive power vacuum amongst the villages across Auryx'nam. The Edgewater village overwhelmingly celebrated the festival of Diogenes to distract them from the woes of their undead foes. During the rave, however, several of the homunculus began to self destruct into glittering gemstones and flame. In the final explosion, it was revealed to the entire town that they would be destroyed by song and reborn in crystal, causing mass hysteria.

A death elf in our service has reportedly begun her transformation from her standard form into a much greater avatar of death. As her skeleton protruded forth from her body and manifested in newfound bone armor, the mechanimen in our lord's service were powerless to resist the control of her heightened magical control over the dead. Soon, very soon, the Death Avatar will come into contact with the Vampire Lord traitor to our great empire. We can only hope the wizards in our care continue to remain true to our intents.

In the ruins of the destroyed Razewatch district, a small autognome responsible for bringing the Hierus daemons into the city of Reva-Tiran began to interface directly with the Builders still present. It was their hope that by doing so, they might be able to ostensibly bring change to the daemons programming. But just as the autognome was making progress in connecting with the machines, the Builder and its connection to Hierus was destroyed by outside forces working on behalf of the Mon Kedis. As the Builder's body self-destructed and shut down all the units connected to it, the Mon Kedis waiting in the wings saw their opportunity and pounced to close the gap in the city's defenses. At least for now, the district is once again under human control.

A group of treasure hunters marooned on the arctic coast were officially labeled lost by the Booriopolis storm ships sent to rescue them. No bodies were recovered and no survivors were present at the frigid tower when the crew arrived. The treasure the hunters were looking for was presumed to be too dangerous to recover with the strange blackened polyps corrupting the arctic coast. With nothing to stop the corruption from spreading, the Storm Goddess has reportedly chosen to amplify the corrupted storm. With the power of the Goddess pushing the storm ever onward, it's spread has pushed so far it leaves our Lord of Vengeance no choice but to react. Vengeance will come to the Oceans that have claimed so many already.

Our advanced scouts report that an young Watcher of the Realm has returned to their home in the frozen mountains of Nortemar. They return to find the place bereft of all the Watchers that protected their frosty climbs. In the place of their old flames, they find a keep encased in ice and a bitter wind blowing across the peaks. But what truly happened to the Watchers?
The answer certainly doesn't lie with the Oozoth of Quillonakk. They flourish in the dark, hidden places beneath the deserts and jungles of the island. One Oozoth hoped to gain legal protections and national recognition for his people, but their hopes and dreams were dashed by an unlikely enemy. A barbaric undead creature in their group secretly worshiped the fire god and brought his purging flames down to the darkness where the Oozoth hide. As our scouts tell of it, the Oozoth home is burning from the inside out in Vaald's honor, converting the unlucky oozes into fireborn life forms. May they one day find the strength to resist Vaald's burning hands.
